About this Blog

It’s Oct 2020 and Covid stay at home restrictions are still in force here in Australia, so I’ve made good use of an otherwise miserable time in our lives to give this blog I started back in 2015 a complete makeover.

Over the years I’ve journaled as a way of processing the emotional stress of grief and loss; and as my physical business is temporarily closed, I’ll use this time to explore my creative side and finally revamp this blog to let my story flow out into the universe.

“Don’t die with your music still in you”

Wayne Dyer

‘Love’s state of mind’ is my personal blog. It’s a philosophical collection of deeply personal, heart felt creative narratives of my life’s journey and other relevant stuff 😉

Love’s state of mind Is about the challenges of nurturing a healthy mindset when your dreams are shattered and your heart is breaking;

It’s about sharing my story, in a way that one day it will be a valuable resource for anyone experiencing adversity in their life;

Throughout the blog I’ll share various techniques of….

  • finding your authentic voice and learning to listen to your intuition.
  • understand the body & therapeutic movement.
  • developing new skills to deal with adversity.
  • learning self regulation and maintaining healthy habits.
  • building resilience and letting go of fear.
  • Engaging self compassion and empathy for yourself.
  • Processing grief, and learning to love again.

As my experience, knowledge & creativity deepens; so will these resources.

Brave Mumma Bear

The ‘brave mumma bear’ metaphor, is who I needed to become to finally surrender to that deafening ‘call from with in’; the call that said no more hibernating, its time to wake up, stop your self deprecating BS; cultivate some new skills; and get to work on sharing your unique story before you run out of time;

William’s eyes are at the essence the Mumma bear logo above.

Brave bear William

Born into this world on July 3rd 2007 – departed July 18th 2016.

Also diagnosed with ADSL deficiency in 2010

Hands down the most inspirational little person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing… I’ll share a lot about William through out this blog. Loving him has taught me so much.

Coming soon – How William became a brave bear.

Lastly I am so happy and grateful that you have found me here and I hope that by sharing my journey it can help support you or someone that you know or love.

Thank you
